The purpose of this functionality is to import the data from another database to
&#x20;the <font color="#3b9f0f">**CITSmart** </font>database.

This feature provides a variety of actions, such as <font color="#3b9f0f">**including, changing, and
 deleting a data import**</font>.

## Before getting started

To import the data, it is necessary:

- [x] To have knowledge about programming and
  &#x20;databases;
- [x] In addition to previously registering the external connection.

## Procedure

1. Access the functionality through the main menu `System > Data Importing and
    Loading > Data Import`;
2. Depending on the import form chosen in the Import By field, different fields
   &#x20;are available;
3. Click on "**Run Routine**" to execute the data import;
4. Click on "**Save**".
