The purpose of this functionality is to register and maintain the generic
 managers, who will be responsible for monitoring the hosts and/or triggers of
 the Zabbix monitoring tool. The monitors will allow the monitoring of all hosts or all triggers in a generic way,
 that is, without the obligation to choose a specific host for monitoring.

The purpose is to simplify the monitoring of an entire network in search of the
 relevant events for the business. It provides a variety of actions, such as including, changing, and
 deleting a Zabbix generic manager.

## Before getting started

- [x] Make sure to have previously registered the
  &#x20;<font color="#3b9f0f">**CITSmart** </font>**Event Monitor** **connection**, the <font color="#3b9f0f">**CITSmart** </font>**Inventory connection**, the time,
  &#x20;occurrence category, automatic action, and connection.

## Procedure

1. Access the functionality through the main menu `Process > Event Management  > Zabbix > Zabbix Generic Manager`;
2. Click on "**New**";
3. Complete the fields available;
4. Click on "**Save**";
5. It's possible to add a new monitoring item linked to the generic manager
   &#x20;already created. In the managers' list, click on "**Edit**";
6. Click on "**Add new item**";
7. Complete the fields available;
8. Click on "**Add**";
9. Click on "**Save**".
