This functionality is intended to **register the categories to the news organization that will be published in the&#x20;**<font color="#3b9f0f">**Smart Portal**</font>.

This feature provides various actions, such as **including, changing, and deleting news categories**.&#x20;

## Procedure

1. Access the functionality through the main menu `Processes > Portfolio and
    Catalog Management > News Registration > News Category`;
2. Click on "**Add news category**";
3. Complete the fields available;
4. Click on the "**Operations**" button and then on "**Save**".
