This functionality allows to <font color="#3b9f0f">**edit the configuration item data**</font>.&#x20;

The changes in configuration items will be saved in a history. Every time the item is changed, a new version is inserted with the changes.

## Before getting started

- [x] It is necessary to register previously a configuration item.

## Procedure

1. Access the functionality through the main menu `Processes > Configuration
    Management > CMDB`;
2. Search for the configuration item;
3. Click on the configuration item;
4. Click on the "**Edit**" button;
5. Edit the configuration item;
6. Click on the "**Save**" button.
