This feature provides a variety of actions, such as <font color="#3b9f0f">**including, changing, and
 deleting the types of Configuration Item (CI)**</font>.

## Before getting started

To register the type of configuration item, it is necessary:

- [x] To previously
  &#x20;register the characteristic.

## Procedure

1. Access the functionality through the main menu `Processes > Configuration
    Management > Configuration Item > Type of Configuration Item`;
2. Click on "**New**";
3. Complete the fields available;
4. Choose whether to insert a characteristic;
5. Click on "**Save**".
