The purpose of this functionality is to **register and maintain the generic
managers**, who will be responsible for **monitoring the hosts and/or triggers of
the Zabbix monitoring tool**.
The managers allow the monitoring of all hosts or all triggers in a generic way,
that is, without the obligation to choose a specific host for monitoring. The purpose is to simplify the monitoring of an entire network in search of the
relevant events for the business.
This feature provides a variety of actions, such as **including, changing, and
deleting a Zabbix generic manager**.
## Before getting started
To register the Global manager, it Is necessary:
- [x] To register previously the
**CITSmart** **Event Monitor connection;**
- [x] The **CITSmart** **Inventory connection, the time,
occurrence category, automatic action, and connection**.
## Procedure
1. Access the functionality through the main menu `Process > Event Management > Zabbix > Zabbix Generic Manager`;
2. Click on "**New**";
3. Complete the fields available;
4. Click on "**Save**";
5. It is possible to add a new monitoring item linked to the generic manager
already created. In the managers' list, click on "**Edit**";
6. Click on "**Add new item**";
7. Complete the fields available;
8. Click on "**Add**";
9. Click on "**Save**".
