Register Nagios Generic Manager

The purpose of this functionlaity is to register and maintain the generic managers, who will be responsible for monitoring the hosts and services of the Nagios monitoring tool. They allow the monitoring of all hosts or all services in a generic way, without the need to choose a specific host for monitoring.
The purpose is to simplify the monitoring of an entire network in search of the relevant events for the business.
This feature provides a variety of actions, such as including, changing, and deleting a Nagios generic manager.
Before getting started
Make sure to have previously registered the CITSmart Event Monitor connection, the time, occurrence category, and automatic action and the CITSmart Inventory connection.
Procedure
- Access the functionality through the main menu Processes > Event Management > Nagios > Nagios Generic Manager;
- Complete all fields available;
- Click on "Save".
