Changing the Configuration Item Data
This functionality allows to edit the configuration item data.
The changes in configuration items will be saved in a history. Every time the item is changed, a new version is inserted with the changes.
Before getting started
It is necessary to register previously a configuration item.
Procedure
- Access the functionality through the main menu Processes > Configuration Management > CMDB;
- Search for the configuration item;
- Click on the configuration item;
- Click on the "Edit" button;
- Edit the configuration item;
- Click on the "Save" button.
