Pipeline
The pipeline is a part of the Portfolio Management that main contains references to services that are not yet live.
In addition to that, in the platform, the same page presents the pipeline as well as the services being created in the service catalog and the obsolete service.
Before getting started
The registration of a service portfolio;
Create the service category;
Create the group(s) that will use the service;
Permission to access the Portfolio Management functionality.
Procedure
- Access the main menu Processes > Portfolio and Catalog Management > Portfolio;
- Find the portfolio you want, and click on "Advance";
- Three tabs will appear: Services Pipeline, Services Catalog, and Obsolete Services;
Designing a Service
In the Services Pipeline tab, it is the designing phase of the service and it will present the services which are not for production yet. We have the following actions available:
Action | Description |

New Service | To start creating a service for the Service Portfolio. For the fields to be completed, see the document Register/Edit a service |
Service Name | To order the list of services in the pipeline by name |
ASC | To order the list of services by ascending or descending |
✅ Rule: The service will only advance to the service catalog phase when its Service Phase is set as "Chart" and the Service Status as "Production".
Still in the Services Pipeline tab, if you want to check the information of a service that is not live yet, you can pick one from the list available. For those services, we have the following actions:

Service Catalog
The next tab is the Services Catalog, where we have the services which are already active and in production. For the list of services available, we have the same actions as in the service pipeline:

Obsolete Services
Finally, in the Obsolete Services tab, It presents services that are retired and those that are out of operation.
The services that are no longer in operation is registered in this part of the the service portfolio. It is used to maintain a history of services.
As in the other tabs, we will have the list of services obsoletes and the following actions:
