Registering Capacity Indicators
This feature provides a variety of actions, such as including, changing, and deleting the capacity/performance indicators that will be linked to Services and Configuration Items (CI).
Before getting started
It is necessary:
To have defined the access permission to the functionalities of the Capacity Management; and
To have permission to use the functionality;
It is also necessary to register the type of capacity indicator.
Procedure
- Access the functionality through the main menu Processes > Capacity Management > Capacity/Performance Indicators;
- The system will present a screen with the types of Capacity Indicators registered and a filter with Name, Value, and Status.
- The user can select the option "New" to create a new Capacity Indicator or for each type listed the user can select :
- Edit – to Change the Capacity Indicator
- Delete – to Exclude the Capacity Indicator
- Enter the data and actions;
Fields

Value (*) | Value to be verified on the CI's by the process |
Unit of Measurement (*) | Choose one of the pre-defined Units (can be searchable with “%%”) |
Type (*) | Choose one of the pre-defined Types (can be searchable with “%%”) |
Status (*) | Indicates usage availability (Active/Inactive) |
(*) Indicate mandatory field
Actions
Action | Description |

Save | Create/Change the capacity indicator. |
Clear | Return the fields to default. |
Search | Return to the previous list of capacity indicators |
